We're not interested in collecting more data than we need to run GapRadar. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
When you sign up, we collect your email address and whatever name you choose to provide. That's it. We use this to identify your account and send you important updates about the service.
If you upgrade to Pro, we use Stripe to process payments. We don't store your credit card details—Stripe handles all of that. We only get a notification that your payment went through.
We track which apps you analyze and when you run analyses. This helps us understand how people use GapRadar and improve the product. We also store your analysis results so you can come back to them later.
Like most websites, we collect basic technical info—IP address, browser type, device info. This is standard stuff that helps us fix bugs and keep the service running smoothly.
We use your data to:
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to train AI models. Your analysis results are private to you.
We use a few third-party services to run GapRadar:
These services have their own privacy policies. We chose them because they take privacy seriously, but you should read their policies too if you're concerned.
We keep your account and analysis data for as long as you have an active account. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Some billing records might stick around longer for legal/accounting reasons, but that's just transaction history.
You can:
If you're in the EU or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA. Email us at privacy@gapradar.com if you want to exercise those rights.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and make the site work. We don't use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. If you block cookies, some features might not work properly.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data. Your password is hashed, data is encrypted in transit, and we follow industry best practices. That said, no system is 100% secure. If we ever have a data breach, we'll notify you ASAP.
We might update this policy occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll email you. Otherwise, check back here once in a while. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when we last changed something.
Questions about privacy? Email us at privacy@gapradar.com. We'll respond within a few days.
This privacy policy is written in plain language on purpose. Legal documents don't have to be incomprehensible. If something's unclear, email us and we'll explain it.
